This privacy policy explains how IZI Technologie, publisher of the TripRDC platform (we, the Service), collects, uses, stores, and shares personal data when you use TripRDC.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read this policy. For platform usage rules, see the Terms and conditions.

1. Data controller

2. Scope

This policy applies to:

visitors of TripRDC websites and applications;
customers who create an account, book, or pay for a service;
professional partners who publish or manage listings;
people who contact us (support, forms, email).

It does not apply to third-party sites or services reached through external links, which have their own policies.

3. Data we collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we may process the following categories.

3.1 Identity and account data

name, email address, phone number;
login credentials, language preferences;
profile photo or documents provided for partner onboarding or verification, where applicable.

3.2 Booking and transaction data

booking details (dates, offer, number of travelers, booking-related messages);
billing information and payment history;
payment data processed by payment providers: TripRDC does not store full card details when processing is delegated to a certified provider.

3.3 Partner data

company information, operational contacts, contractual documents;
listing content (descriptions, photos, prices, availability);
performance data related to platform activity (as needed for operations).

3.4 Technical and browsing data

IP address, device type, browser, pages viewed, timestamps;
technical logs, cookies, and similar technologies (see Cookies section);
security data (login attempts, fraud detection).

3.5 User content

reviews, comments, messages sent through the Service;
attachments or documents you choose to submit.

We do not ask for sensitive data (racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, health, etc.), unless strictly necessary and permitted by law, or if you voluntarily include such information in free-form content.

If you choose Sign in with Google, Google shares with us—with your consent through your Google account—the information needed to authenticate you: email address, display name, profile picture URL, and a unique Google account identifier.

We use this data only to:

create and secure your TripRDC account;
identify you when you sign in;
display your name and picture in your user area;
send you Service-related communications (confirmations, security, support).

We do not sell this data, do not use it for targeted advertising, and do not use it to train generalized artificial intelligence models. We request from Google only the permissions required for this sign-in (profile and email).

Google's processing is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. TripRDC complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Purposes and legal bases

We process your data to:

provide and improve the Service (account creation, bookings, listing display);
process payments and prevent fraud;
communicate with you (confirmations, support, security alerts);
enable partners to fulfill booked services;
comply with legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations;
analyze Service usage in aggregated or pseudonymized form to improve the experience;
send marketing communications only where permitted by law and, where required, with your consent or a clear opt-out right.

Depending on context and applicable law, bases may include: performance of a contract, consent, a legal obligation, or a legitimate interest (security, Service improvement, fraud prevention), subject to your rights.

Your data may be shared, only as needed, with:

authorized IZI Technologie / TripRDC teams;
Partners involved in a booking or request (to fulfill the service);
technical providers (hosting, email, analytics, file storage, support tools);
payment and anti-fraud providers;
competent authorities when required by law or to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal data.

Partners remain responsible for processing data they collect or use outside the TripRDC platform, under their own practices.

6. International transfers

The Service may be hosted by or rely on providers located outside the Democratic Republic of the Congo (including for hosting, email, authentication, file storage, and payments). Where applicable law requires it, we implement appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses, security measures, recognized providers).

Main technical subprocessors may be located in the European Union or the United States. A detailed list is available on request at [email protected].

7. Retention

We keep data only for as long as needed for the purposes described, then archive or delete it, subject to legal retention periods:

user account: life of the account, then a reasonable archive period after closure;
bookings and billing: period needed for contract management and accounting obligations;
technical and security logs: limited period, unless investigation is required;
cookies: according to their lifetime and your choices (see Cookies section).

8. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data (access control, encryption in transit where applicable, logging, least-privilege principles).

No system is fully secure. Please protect your credentials and report any suspicious incident via the Contact page.

9. Your rights

Depending on the law applicable to your situation, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, and the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To exercise your rights:

use your account settings when available;
or contact us via the Contact page and provide information needed to verify your identity.

You may also lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority in your country or jurisdiction.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

operate the Service (session, authentication, preferences);
measure audience and improve performance, where applicable;
remember certain choices (language, consent).

You can manage cookies through your browser settings and, when offered, through a banner or preference center on the Service. Refusing some cookies may limit certain features.

11. Minors

The Service is not intended for children without a parent or guardian where required by law. If you believe a minor provided us with data without authorization, contact us so we can delete it when appropriate.
